Overview
Abell Elevator International is an elevator company based in Louisville, Kentucky. The company was founded in 1910. It was acquired by American Elevator Group in 2021.
Abell is perhaps best known for their elevators in Menards home improvement stores. Their work with Menards led to a massive expansion of their installation base in the 2010s. Once limited to Indiana and Kentucky, Abells can now be found from southern Missouri and Des Moines to Michigan's Upper Peninsula and northeastern Ohio.
Ohio state records suggest some relationship between Abell and Delaware Elevator.
