John 3:16

John 16:13
The Holy Spirit Guides Us to Truth
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
John 14:6
Jesus Says that He is Truth
6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
God made us in His Image...And since He is our Creator, we are and should trust in Him...He has given us a Holy Spirit...And that Holy Spirit in each of us will guide us to Him and to the Truths of this world...
Trusting in God is so important...The Bible teaches and Solomon writes in the Proverbs to trust in God...He adds that we should not always lean on our own understanding, but to trust in God's Wisdom and understanding...God is the basis and foundation for our lives...We are created in His Image and that gives us both love and meaning and an inherent value...If we are only evolutionary creatures from the sea, then where does any inherent value or meaning or love come from and fit into every single person's life?...
Our thoughts are a difficult thing to explain...Thoughts are mental events, yet these mental events of the thought process make sense...Our brains were designed for thinking...But why do our thoughts make sense?...And why do our thoughts guide us to reason and logic and to Truth?...C. S. Lewis had an interesting take on the meaning of our lives without God, and on thinking about our thought process...Lewis, once an atheist, believed God created us and gives meaning to the thoughts we have...C. S. Lewis said this about the thought process..."Supposing there was no intelligence behind the universe, no creative mind...In that case, nobody designed my brain for the purpose of thinking...It is merely that when the atoms inside my skull happen, for physical or chemical reasons, to arrange themselves in a certain way, this gives me, as a by-product, the sensation I call thought...But, if so, how can I trust my own thinking to be true?...It’s like upsetting a milk jug and hoping that the way it splashes itself will give you a map of London...But if I can’t trust my own thinking, of course I can’t trust the arguments leading to atheism, and therefore have no reason to be an atheist, or anything else...Unless I believe in God, I cannot believe in thought: so I can never use thought to disbelieve in God."...
Lewis explains that we cannot use thought(s) and the thought process not to believe in God...How can a random mental event type thought argue against God?...How did the thought process evolve through the Darwinian Theory to make things of thoughts rational?...Why do we even have thoughts, especially reasonable thoughts, if we are here purely through random evolution?...How can the non-believer, believe his or her thoughts, if they are are just these random events from evolution?...
Jesus says that we are guided in our thoughts and ways to Him, and to the Truth through the Holy Spirit...By believing in Him, it gives us a genuine basis for believing that our thoughts are not just random mental events...We can believe that the thought process is a deliberate and powerful part of the Image of God...That each person matters, and each of us is important to Him...God LOVES us...He wants us to have an eternal life with Him and His Son...
