Ephesians 2:1-10
By Grace We Are Saved
1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
John 3:16-17
God's LOVE for Us
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
St. Paul says that it is by grace we have been saved...And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Jesus, in order that in the coming ages God might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in His Son...For it is by grace we have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast...
The followers of Jesus believe that grace is unmerited forgiving merciful favor that God gave to mankind by sending His Son, to die on a cross for our sins, which gives those that believe in Him and His Son eternal salvation from their sins...For God so LOVES the world that He gave his One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life...For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him...
So it is by grace through our faith we are saved...God's grace binds us to what is meaningful in our hearts...Grace cannot be earned through our works...Grace cannot be bought...If grace could be purchased, then we could sin all of our lives without having any faith but then make the largest donation and then we would be saved (at the time of our donation)...We cannot fool God, because He looks at our heart's and not our wallets...
And I think that Grace is Full of Mercy,...Grace is Full of Forgiveness...And, of course, is Full of LOVE...
