John 10:30-33
Jesus Says He and His Father are One and is Accused of Blasphemy
30 "I and the Father are one." 31 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, 32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”
33 “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”
John 3:1-2
Jesus Teaches Nicodemus
1 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”
Jesus' opponents could never figure out who He was...They could not see that He is Divine...Jesus performed many miracles...He is a Teacher that came from God because no one could perform the miracles and signs if God were not with Him...
This sign of Divinity is a Great Sign that He and God are One...His actions and Good Works proved He was Divine...Jesus is able to be Divine without seeming to be Divine...
