Ephesians 2:1-10
Saved by Grace through Faith
1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
John 3:16-17
God LOVES the World
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
John 17:3
Now This is Eternal Life
3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
Romans 5:1-11
Sinners Have Peace and Hope
1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Jesus 14:1-7
Jesus Comforts His Disciples
1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Romans 10:9-13
Saved By Grace
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
1 John 1:5-10
Sin, Forgiveness, and Salvation
5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
When God made us leave the Garden of Eden for being disobedient to Him, and our sinning...But He still LOVES us and had a Plan to save us from the sins we commit and will commit...So we were dead in our sins and transgressions...Patient, as He is, God's Plan did not come into existence unto a Child was born much later after His Creation...The One born would be Fathered by the Holy Spirit, and a earthly virgin...So God made us alive with Jesus even when we were dead in our sins and transgressions...And it is by God's grace and LOVE that we have been saved and are saved...And God raised us up with Jesus and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in and with His Son...In order that all the coming generations God might share the incomparable riches of His grace, He expressed this in His kindness to us with His Son dying on the cross...God gave us a way for our atonement of our sins and future sins by sending His Son to us...And thus Jesus died on the cross for our sins and our future sins...
And it is by God's grace that we have been saved, through faith—and this is not by what we have done...But this grace is God's Grace, and this Grace is the Gift of God—not by our works in anything we have done on earth, so that no one can boast that he has saved himself...For we are God’s handiwork, created in Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do...
Since we have been justified through faith and saved by God's Grace, we have peace and a Savior from our sins with God through our LORD Jesus Christ...We have gained access through God through Jesus and through our faith in God and His Son...The Way to God is by faith and belief in His Son and His Father...His Son says no one gets to His Father except through Him...And by having faith in Them we are saved by this Gift of God's Grace...Because the Way, the Truth, and our Eternal Life is through Jesus...And because no one gets to God, except through His Son, we have a Way to be with God and eternal life...So we have gained access to God by His Son and to eternal life and to heaven-by our faith and in this Gift of Grace in which can now attain...And so we boast in the hope of the glory of God, though His Son, who died for us suffering on the cross...
Jesus died suffering and tortured on the cross...With Great Character and Integrity, Jesus persevered suffering on the cross for us and He died...Then He rose giving us hope of salvation and eternal life...So let us find glory in our own sufferings...Not only is this so, but let us find this glory in our own sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope...And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s LOVE has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us...So Jesus died for the ungodly sinner...And very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die...But God demonstrates His own LOVE for us in this: While we were still sinners, Jesus died on the cross for us...
When Jesus was born we learn that He would be the One to take away the sins of the world...So Jesus would be the Savior of our sins that we do...And He is our Savior of our sinful nature as we continue to sin throughout our lives...So if we declare by saying that Jesus is LORD, and we believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved...So when we sin, let us confess to God our sins...For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved...As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”...For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same LORD is LORD of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”...
So let us admit that we do sin... Let us not deceive ourselves and believe that we do not sin now or in the future...It is in our nature to sin...If we confess our sins to God, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness...This is why God sent His Son for us...God sent Jesus for the sins we commit...So if we claim we have not sinned or do not sin, then we make God out to be a liar and His word is not in us...
God LOVES the world, and so He His One and Only Son to us to save us from our sins...And whoever believes in Jesus shall not perish but have eternal life...For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn us of our sins, but to save the world through Him...And this is eternal life that we may know God, who is the Only One True God, and Jesus Christ, whom God sent to dwell among us and to teach us and to save us, and be our Savior...
God have mercy on me, a sinner...
