1 John 4:8
God is LOVE
8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
John 3:16-17
God LOVES the World
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Matthew 6:19-21
Treasures Are in Heaven
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
It seems to me that there are two Godly Laws that can work hand in hand, but while we are on earth they struggle against each other...It seems as though God has given us two of the most lovingly laws in the universe...The law of love, and the law of free choice come from God...Both of these laws are out of His unconditional LOVE...And with most of our free choice decisions, we stay focused on the earthly, material things...But the Real Treasures are the Treasures of God's Kingdom...So Jesus teaches us the Spiritual, the everlasting -the eternities...While we seem to focus on the temporary, the earthly and fleshy, carnal things, the Holy Spirit and Jesus and His Father would like us focused on the Kingdom of Heaven, the eternal...God has forever placed eternity in our hearts, so we feel and notice this tug...And where you believe your treasures are - are where your heart resides...So Jesus teaches us about God's Kingdom and the eternities, and the Real Treasures...His entire gospel is centered around God, a LOVING, Living God, a God who is Spirit and LOVE, and setting an example of how we should live...
We may try to get away from the earthly treasures, but it has proven very difficult...The Great Saints tried and try very hard to break away and into the Spiritual Ways of God and His Divine Laws...But these two laws seem to keep us busy on earth and our earthly ways of thinking...But thank God through His Grace, that He has given us a Savior who sees these problems we have...This Savior who became flesh and dwelt among us as a human and seen our day to day struggles with our earthly sins...But His Father created us, and He LOVES us, and by His Grace we are saved through His Son, our Savior...
