John 3:16-17
God LOVES Us
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
Jesus Did Not Sin
21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
1 John 4:7-12
God's LOVE and Ours
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
There is this great importance in justice and being just...God is a just God...But when we look at man's sinful nature and how God gave us Jesus and sent His Son to us to teach us about LOVE and the justice of how things played out in His Son’s life it just do not seem quite right...God went beyond justice and showed His LOVE for us...And why this does not seem quite right or fair or just is that us...It is humanity who has sinned...So it is we who as man have individually sinned, but it was God who would send His Son to the cross to pay the penalty for each of our sinful nature's and our sin debt…God gives us justice through His Son...So God sent His One and Only Son into the world that we might live through Him...This is love: not that we loved God, but that He LOVED us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins...
Jesus showed us LOVE, justice, righteousness, goodness, consistency, and truth throughout His ministry...He was guilty of nothing...He was a Man, if it fair to call Him a Man, who did not sin...Jesus lived by the Spirit of justice and righteousness...And it seems to me that man’s life can only be sustained by this Spirit of Love and Truth, which seems to go beyond justice…Maybe life is to intimate in God’s eyes to only be handled by justice…It is better to be handled by LOVE...
There is a difference between God's Justice and God's LOVE...And we know that God is LOVE...And in God's Justice, we see God's LOVE...
Jesus taught us many things about justice and love...I believe these ideas are His...I believe that we cannot have justice without mercy, just as we cannot have love without forgiveness...
