Fruit of the Spirit
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
From the cross we can see many of God’s attributes...God sent us His Son out of LOVE to die for us and our sins on the cross...
In His three year ministry and teachings of His Son, we see the patience God has with us...In His Son's ministry we see His great wisdom...His Son shows a LOVE for all of us throughout His teachings...Then on the cross we see how God views judgment...We see God’s mercy on the cross, we see God’s LOVE, we see God’s forgiveness, we see God’s grace...We see a need for sacrifice...We see and learn about suffering on the cross...On the cross, we see also better how God sees His justice for man...
Hanging and dying on the cross was Jesus...Jesus is Truth...Jesus shows us righteousness, as He died for us for our sins on the cross...And the reason He died for us is out of LOVE...We see a Divine Holiness...And how can we not see goodness in all of this...
On the cross, we see God...We somehow see LOVE through the eyes of suffering...
