John 3:16
God Cares for Us
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Matthew 6:26
God Cares for Us
26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are?
Matthew 6:30
God Cares for Us
30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
Luke 12:7
God Cares for Us
7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Luke 11:11-13
God Cares for Us
11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
Jesus not only makes it clear that there is a God, but also the God cares for us...Jesus tells us birds do not store any food for today, tomorrow, or next week, but God feeds them each day...And aren't we more valuable than the birds of the air?...God loves and cares so wonderfully for wildflowers, that are here today and gone tomorrow...Then certainly He will care for us...And God knows the number of hairs on each of our heads...And then Jesus adds that we are worth more than many sparrows...Only God is good, but even though we are evil know we how to give our own children good gifts...So how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!...
God is caring...In these verses we see that cares for the birds of the air...Jesus tells us that God cares so wonderfully, even for wildflowers...And the wildflowers quickly pass on to One who is eternal...Let alone us who live only a few limited years on earth...And if we think about this we might sometimes take the beautiful birds for granted...We might overlook the beautiful wildflowers we have just passed...Sometimes I have driven home and not even know where I have driven...My mind sometimes, if not often, goes on autopilot...When a mind is on autopilot the the birds, the flowers, nature's beauty, and even those we love can get overlooked...And yet we learn that God feeds His birds, and He so wondrously cares for things like wildflowers...God's age is infinite and eternal...He is not bored...He notices these things....Yet, we sometimes miss them...
We have a caring God...And He hears us, and He cares for us...God seems to forever live in the present moment, and notice everything around Him and notice everything in the universe...God has an eternal eye for seeing the newness in each sunrise and each sunset...He still and forever sees the beauty in nature...He wants us to see these beautiful things around us...He cares for us and wants us to see all the things in life, some we sometimes hurriedly miss or just overlook and miss...He wants us to see all those beautiful things around us that are in our lives...
