Salvation and being saved and eternal life are very much related and we are taught that it takes Jesus and His Father to attain eternal life...To gain eternal life we need to know the only true God and His Son...We must know that God sent us His Son to save us from our sins...St. Paul tells us that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is LORD, and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, then we are saved with this faith (in the Father and His Son)...St. John who was an eye witness to Jesus wrote that God so LOVES the world that He gave us His only Son, that whoever who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life...Peter another eyewitness to Jesus, tells us that salvation is found only in Jesus, there is no other way...St. Peter added that for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved...
Jesus teaches us the eternities...He taught about eternal life, and how to achieve eternal life...He teaches the Truth, and He said He is Truth...He says to get to eternity we must believe in the only True God...Jesus said "For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day."...He also said "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."...
To gain salvation there is an exclusive way...But Truth by its very nature is exclusive...Truth cannot be one thing today, and one thing in the past, and something else tomorrow...And LOVE is the foundation of Truth, and out of LOVE God gave His Son to us so that we can be saved and have eternal life with them...Love is the most beautiful of things we have on earth...For what is life without love?...And because the foundation of Truth is LOVE, and if one believes that LOVE is a most beautiful thing, then eternity will be the most beautiful thing we will ever see...
