John 3:16-21
God LOVES the World
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
Matthew 1:23
God is With Us
23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
God created man, and He did it in His Image...And because God created man and woman in His Image, mankind was supposed to be good, very good...But we created out of LOVE, Unconditional LOVE which allows free choices to his or her beloved...So God, in giving us free will, allowed us to sin...And ironically, we listened to the serpent and fell from grace in the Most Perfect of Places, a Paradise called Eden...
And man continued to sin until the time of Noah...And God cleansed the earth of sin...But even with this earthly cleansing, man continued to sin...And our evil continued throughout the ages and God knew we needed help with our sins, so He would send His Son, whom some called Immanuel, to save us from our evil ways, and our sins...So His Son would die on a cross for our sins, which would atone for and pay for all our sins...
So despite our sinful nature and our sinful ways, God LOVES us...And God is with us...
