John 3:16-21
God LOVES the World and Sent His Son to Save Us
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
Jesus calls Himself the Son of God...And He was born of the Holy Spirit and of the virgin Mary...Mary would be the mother of a Divine Child...And give birth to a Son...Jesus had a supernatural birth, and because His mother was human, He was conceived as a natural birth in Bethlehem in a stable...Light had come into this world on the Day of His Birth...But man's deeds were dark and the world is troubled and weary...God could have condemned the world because of our deeds and sins, but instead He shows us His LOVE by sending us His Son to help us, to save us...
Being born by a human mother and by the Holy Spirit makes this particular Baby both Human and Divine...And the Birth of Jesus is one of Divine Mercy, Divine Forgiveness, and Divine LOVE...This Divine LOVE is the Great Example of God's LOVE...God had a Son who became Human who was poor, had no fame around or about Him, had no reputation, and was powerless...Jesus' Birth would mark and show people that the vulnerable, the poor, those overlooked, the powerless, those with no reputation have this Great LOVE from God...For God so LOVES the world that He would send His Son and give us this Great Sign of His Divine Son to show us that the injustices of this world would some day be taken care of by Him...
Hope was born on Christmas Day...
