Romans 1:18-20
God's Invisible Qualities
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
John 16:7-13
The Holy Spirit Guides Us to the Truth
7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment:9 about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.
God is of Infinite Intelligence...He knows all things...God is our True Divine Source...God has sent us His Son to teach us more about Him...And after His Son ascended to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to guide us to the Truth...
I read something that Antony Flew wrote years ago...Flew used to be an atheist but He later in his life he came to believe in God...
Antony Flew said, "I now believe that the universe was brought into existence by an infinite Intelligence...I believe that this universe's intricate laws manifest what scientists have called the Mind of God...I believe that life and reproduction originate in a divine Source."...Flew later wrote, "Why do I believe this, given that I expounded and defended atheism for more than a half century?...The short answer is this: this is the world picture, as I see it, that has emerged from modern science...Science spotlights three dimensions of nature that point to God...The first is the fact that nature obeys laws...The second is the dimension of life, of intelligently organized and purpose-driven beings, which arose from matter...The third is the very existence of nature...But it is not science alone that has guided me...I have also been helped by a renewed study of the classical philosophical arguments."...And Flew goes on to say, "I must say again that the journey to my discovery of the Divine has thus far been a pilgrimage of reason...I have followed the argument where it has led me...And it has led me to accept the existence of a self-existent, immutable, immaterial, omnipotent, and omniscient Being."...
When I read this I think of what St. Paul had written in his letter to the Romans around two thousand years ago...And I also think about a Holy Spirit that guides us into all the Truths of the universe...
