Troubles in this World
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

A Strong Foundation
46"Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? 47I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. 48He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49 But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."
My brother tells me that life is a journey...God has it planned, or at least, He knows what road and journey we will take and know which way we are headed and which way we will go on this journey...And this journey is not one without trouble...There are pitfalls, stumbles, and detours along the way...The journey is not a smooth one...The journey is not orderly, but more of a working through our issues in this journey, each and everyday...And some of these issues in this journey become very tough...
For the believer, his journey has all these things, but it includes God and His Son...They are there when we go the wrong way, when hit these pitfalls, stumbles, and tough detours...And we get through our journey with there help, knowing that there is a Rock we can cling to...
