Deuteronomy 4:29
Seek God With All Your Heart and Soul
29 But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Matthew 6:32-34
Seek God and His Kingdom
32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
John 14:6-7
Jesus is the Truth, the Way, and the Life
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know[a] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
John 16:33
The Holy Spirit Will Guide Us to the Truth
33 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
Matthew 7:13-14
The Narrow and Wide Gates
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
I believe in Jesus’ time that much was said and spoken about religions and God...I believe the conversations of God and the coming Messiah were being thought about and talked about in a frequent manner...
And when the Messiah finally came and dwelt on earth, He was constantly talking about His Father, and the Kingdom of God...I believe that being two thousand years removed from Jesus has had an effect on the current world...I also believe there is a need to recognize the holy and sacred...In the current cultures we do not see or hear enough about Jesus and His Father...We need to remember where we came from and the sacred and holy history of our past...
We are to seek God with all our heart and all of our soul, and this is difficult we do not believe in the sacred and holy...The way to God is clear, Jesus has made that clear by saying He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life...No one comes to the Father, except through Me...Those seeking the Way to God are seeking the Truth...But we can miss the Truth in our lives as we do our daily routines and fill our days with no time for our Father, His Son, or prayer...Then we have this tendency to get lost and drift away from the sacred and holy...It is easier, its seems to follow the wide road that the flesh likes to follow, than follow the sacred and holy ways of our LORD...His gate does seem to be a narrow one...
We must continue to seek God and His Son...And this is difficult when one is always busy or has different things going on in their lives...But the Truth has a Way to get to us at some time and in some Way...The Way is the Way of the Holy Spirit as it guides us to the Truth...The Truth is elusive as we search...If the Truth was not elusive, then everyone would find God...But God allows us to stay busy, and do those things in our lives that occupies us and our time...He does this because of His unconditional LOVE through the free will He gives us to do and think about many things...
Our destination in life should be to the Truth, the Way, and the Abundant Life...Let us continue to seek the Truth, more frequently...
