Finding Peace in a Troubled World
33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Wise and Foolish Builders
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.
I do not believe one can get through life without having no problems or troubles...Jesus tells us as much when He said "In this world you will have trouble...But take heart!...I have overcome the world."...
Our belief system and what we believe in is how we see the world...Everyone has a belief system -in what they believe in...Our belief system filters what we think and what we believe in...And then we act out many of our thoughts and ideas from our belief system and what we believe in...Or belief system permeates through in our actions and deeds and our behavior...So having a strong belief system in life is important, especially knowing you will have problems throughout your life...
Jesus addressed belief systems in His teaching on the Wise and Foolish Builders...The people who are able to follow Jesus have a certain strength in their life...This strength lies in the fact that by believing in Jesus teachings, your belief system is based on a faith and belief in Him and in God...Faith in Jesus and His Father gives one a stronger foundation, that brings more order in one’s life, and a belief that everyone (every neighbor) is important...And these ideas and belief in Jesus and God, then help form and affect the basis for your belief system...Everyone who hears the words of Jesus and puts them into practice is very much a wise man...
Jesus believed completely in God...All His teachings centered on and were about God...Yet, Jesus did not bring many new doctrines about God, LOVE, or eternal life...He just focused and centered His life on God and we can see and read about the kind of Person He is...We can see how He believed in God through His actions and His deeds and His behavior...We can see the kind of Man He was on earth and is...He is, after all, still living...There is peace in this troubled world and we find it in Jesus and His Father...
