Luke 6:37-42
Forgive and You Will Be Forgiven
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
39 He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40 The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.
41 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
John 16:30
Jesus Knows All Things
30 Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.
Jesus knows all things and His Disciples told Him this..They over time realized that since He knew all things that He came from God....He was full of knowledge and wisdom...And the virtues of knowledge and wisdom are very nice virtues that can be learned and in a way possessed by the individual (holding knowledge and wisdom)...So one might say that knowledge and wisdom are possessed by the individual...There are maybe some similarities of knowledge and wisdom and love but there is this wide difference...Love is more similar to forgiving, I believe, than to knowledge and wisdom...I believe also, that love and the ability to forgive are much more humble traits than having knowledge and wisdom...
Jesus is Knowledgeable, Wise, and full of LOVE and Forgiveness...And as Jesus taught and we read about His deeds, we see that love is different from His Knowledge and His Wisdom in that love is more giving, than an individual possession...Jesus was always forgiving and giving to another one or ones, which is a sign of His Great LOVE...Jesus was giving His LOVE to others and forgiving others, so that the entire world would be in harmony...This is because LOVE among us and the ability to forgive others in this world brings the world into this Great Harmony...So the one who loves is trying to give his love to others is loving, helping, and making the world a better place to live, and bringing the world together...
