God Saw that What He Created Was Good
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the sixth day.
Genesis 3:6-13
The Fall of Mankind
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”
12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”
13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”
The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
Romans 5:12-17
12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—
13 To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law. 14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.
15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! 16 Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. 17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

Peace from the God of Peace
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
1 Corinthians 13:11-13
Faith, Hope, and Love
11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
John 3:16-17
God Sent Us His Son to Save Us
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Eternal Life is Knowing the Father and His Son
3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
I have read that we live in a troubled, and sometimes sad world...But it not always like that...
When God created the world, He saw that it was good...He then created Adam and Eve...He made their home a Garden Paradise...It was called Eden...Everything was good in the world...The world was full of good, and man was close to his Creator in Paradise...
After a while, the two in the Garden were tempted by a deliciously looking fruit from a beautiful tree...A fruit that could be used easily and logically for their food...The fruit looked more and more delicious with each and every glance at it...Eve was tempted by the fruit of the tree because it looked so good...And after all it was just food, and it was so pleasing to the eye that she could not resist...Plus, she wanted to gain wisdom -as the evil one lead her on and on to this temptation...So both Eve and Adam ate the delicious looking fruit...Attractive and promising things often prove too tempting and desirous for us to resist...The beautiful fruit would be our downfall...Temptations intensify when they are attractive, and we think it can fill a sudden urge or desire -and then our mind comes preoccupied with that temptation...
Jesus tells us we will have troubles in this world...Some are because of our own doing and our sinful nature...Death has entered the world through our sinful nature, but we can overcome death by believing in Jesus and His Father...
As far as troubles and temptations, St. Paul suggests we focus our mind off of temptations and on something else...He suggests we think of things that are true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things...Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice...And the God of peace will be with you...He adds later that we should be aware of the three great virtues in life and have faith, hope, and love in our hearts...When we do these things, we will find a peace in this world...
In this world we will have troubles, but Jesus is there...The LORD is near...Through God's grace He has given us a peace in this life through One Man, Jesus Christ!...Salvation is found in no one else...When we focus on the peace of God, we are led to His Son -who is our Savior and is our door to eternal life...When we have our minds on this peace of God, we then find the God of Peace...
