Internal links

Internal links are links to other units within a course. Only units can be referenced from within other units. You can’t link to modules, topics, or overview or assessment pages. You can’t link to units within another course. Internal links can’t be placed in line with text, and are similar to block style in their appearance.

Inserting an internal link

• Place the cursor on a blank line, outside of a sentence or paragraph.
• Select Internal link from the edit text menu

The following dialog box will pop up.

Here you can change the introductory text.

Select Add to add a link to a unit. This will bring up all available units to link to.

Additional units can be added if required. Units can also be removed.

Select Save to add the completed internal link into the text.
