This area allows a course builder to add glossary terms and descriptions to the course. If the term appears in the text it will be underlined and the description will be displayed on a mouse over or click.
Example of a glossary item in text.
Glossary terms are entered into iQualify one at a time using the page shown below.
When entering glossary terms, note that multiple terms can be used, and terms can be excluded.
Multiple terms may be added for a single definition by simply adding another term separated by a comma. In the example above Object, objects and dog all share the same definition.
Term: Object, objects, dog.
A term may be excluded by adding a comma, then !and your term (with no space). In the example above information systems has been excluded from the information definition. It appears that only one term may be excluded per entry.
Term: Information, !information systems.
iSearch has a glossary report that will list the course glossary. Visit iTools for more details.
