From course creation to student offering

A course goes through three stages from creation to publication and finally activation by manage when the course is offered to students, currently by block or trimester.

An overview of these stages is presented below.

A published course may have many activations (offerings).

A course is activated through the manage role by the course offering administration team. During activation the start and end dates of the course are set along with assignment due dates and so on.

Consequently there can be a number of past, current and scheduled (future) activations for a course.

These stages are represented on the course cards as Under construction, Published and Activations.
