Computer code is usually displayed in monotype, with line numbers for larger code snippets.
iQualify has several methods of displaying computer code β both inline with text and by itself as a code snippet. Presenting code snippets in activities uses a different method. There are also alternative methods to display code using the Embed web page element.
Code can be styled inline with text by highlighting the text to be code and using the Style menu and selecting Code. The highlighted text will be converted to monotype.
For longer listings of code, use the Code snippet element from the + menu.
Then paste in the code from your source.
Upon saving, the code is highlighted and given line numbers, as shown below.
Using the Embed web page element itβs possible to link to services such as codepen.io and repl.it and others to provide students with live running code examples. Visit the Embed web page for details on user accounts and so on.
