A practice quiz can be selected as a Knowledge check quiz.
The practice quiz is created as normal and is then designated as a Knowledge check quiz in the Organise content area.
When enabled, the student sees an extra button in the course banner.
When they select Check your knowledge they will see an overview of the quiz. They then select Start quiz to begin.
The quiz loads and the students are taken through a series of questions.
The student completes the quiz and then selects See results. They are shown their score, the explanation that you wrote earlier when editing the quiz, and a diagnostic chart. The chart includes a line for each theme in your quiz. It shows the student their progress correctly answering the questions in each theme.
You need to use meaningful names for your theme IDs, instead of T-1, T-2, and so on. In the example above the theme IDs were Acts, Economics, and so on. We’re waiting to hear how we insert spaces into two-word theme IDs.
Note: The requirement for meaningfully named theme IDs only applies to the knowledge check quiz. Stick with T-1, T-2, and so on for other quizzes.
