The multiple-choice activity type allows the creation of multiple-choice questions. These can have one or multiple correct answers.
Unlike the other activity types, students will only see the automatic feedback on successful completion of the multiple-choice questions.
Add an activity and choose Multiple choice question from the type drop-down list.
Add the lead-in question under 1. Question.
Select 2. Answers.
Add the available answers the studens can chose from.
Select the correct answer or answers.
Delete any surplus options using the – button to the right (highlighted).
Add additional options using the + button at the bottom (highlighted)
Select 3. Automatic feedback to add the feedback given to students when they have correctly answered the question.
Note: Feedback for multiple-choice questions is only shown when students have answered correctly. They will simply get the following message if the answer is incorrect.

Select Hint (Optional) to add a hint for the studens.
As multiple-choice questions don’t provide any feedback for incorrect answers, this is recommended for this type of activity.
