iQualify adds video by either:
Videos produced in-house are hosted on our own Vimeo account.
We’ll add a video from YouTube for this walk-through.
This will bring up the video dialog box, which has options for the video source, transcript and poster image (for uploaded videos). We’ll just link a video here and discuss these other options in the Video page of this guide.
Here we’re using a YouTube video appropriate to the topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOppzHpvTiQ&t=1s.
iQualify is quite clever in that you only need the URL you would use to go to the page – you don't need to do anything else, such as use the YouTube embed code.
The video will be displayed so that you can check it’s the correct one. You can also add an attribution under the video.
Note: The title of the video is generally provided in the preceding text, along with an in-text citation, the duration of the video and a footnoted reference. See Style guide for more details.
Congratulations! You’ve just created your first page, complete with images and video.
