iQualify appears to support vector images in scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) format.
This is not mentioned anywhere in their knowledge base, so use with caution.
SVG images can have large file sizes.
The image types we have previously mentioned, Jpeg and PNG, are both a type of raster image. A raster image is made up of dots (pixels) and will become blurry if enlarged too much.
Vector images are made up of instructions about how they are to be drawn and can be enlarged without any distortion. Vector images, like raster images, come in many formats. The format that is supported on the web is SVG.
Distortion clearly visible.
No distortion.
Getty images has a filter for vector images.
Getty saves its vector images as EPS and this can be chosen for download.
To convert your image into an SVG, simply open it in Adobe illustrator and select Save as > SVG.
The image can now be uploaded just like any other image.
