Books and Games Club, as well as the Robotics Club, have been cancelled due to COVID-19. Mr. A-E sponsors both clubs at Galileo School of Math and Science.

If COVID-19 numbers improve, Mr. A-E said the clubs may start at the end of the year.

The two clubs he runs, cannot be done online because they are hands-on and need specific materials. Mr. A-E is upset by this, as he wants to run the clubs.

In the Robotics Club, students learn to build and program robots, fly drones and design and print on the 3D printers. They also cover cyber security in which students will learn about how to protect online information.

The Games and Books Club is exactly what it sounds like- kids spend time together playing games and reading books.

Mr. A-E found out about the cancellation it was from administration he was sad and upset because he suppose to run at least one club for his career and tech education (C+T) standing, and because he would not get to work with club members .

His club members were sad when they heard the news. Daphane, a member of Robotics club, said, “I’m upset because they canceled robotics and I was planning to do it this this year but since Covid-19, I couldn't anymore.”
