Volleyball Season: Perspective From the Court

Welcome back! If you haven’t read the other Perspective from the Court articles, read it and come back. This is part 3 of 4 on the Volleyball 1st person perspectives by me, Aaliyah V. Starting on this part the events will cover events throughout the official season. This means I will cover practices, games, and post games. I will cover the events of B-teams wins and losses, and A-teams.

Season B-Team

Tuesday, Mar 15, 2022: They lost against Sabin, at Sabin

Thursday, Mar 17, 2022: They lost against Mann, at Mann

Tuesday, Mar 29, 2022: They lost against Jenkins, a home game

Thursday, Mar 31, 2022: They lost against North, a home game

Monday, Apr 4, 2022: They lost against Swigert, a home game

According to some of the members of B-Team, after every game Coach Lisa would give them a homework assignment. This assignment would be for one thing they did during the match that they could’ve done better.

Season A-Team

Tuesday, Mar 15, 2022: We won against Sabin, at Sabin

Thursday, Mar 17, 2022: We lost against Mann, at Mann

Tuesday, Mar 29, 2022: We lost against Jenkins, a home game

Thursday, Mar 31, 2022: We lost against North, a home game

Monday, Apr 4, 2022: We won against Swigert, a home game

In the few games we’ve won we were filled with adrenaline. When we won against Sabin we were determined to win. Sabin was one of the teams we won against last year and one of our teammates went to the school last year. When we won against Swigert we were so pumped and we were determined to win because it was the last game of the season before Pool Play.

When this is published we will have 3 B-Team Pool Plays and 3 A-Team Pool Plays. All games start at 4:30 pm.

Wednesday Apr 13, 2022: B-Team Pool Play, at Galileo

Friday Apr 15, 2022: B-Team final Pool Play at Mitchell High School

Saturday Apr 16, 2022: B-Team final Pool Play at Mitchell High School

Friday Apr 22, 2022: A-Team final Pool Play at Mitchell High School

Saturday Apr 23, 2022: A-Team final Pool Play at Mitchell High School
