The Paw Print
Galileo School of Math and Science's
Student Written Newspaper
The Paw Print is a student produced website from Galileo School of Math and Science, and this is our second year in production. Galileo is a middle school in Colorado Springs School District 11, located in the heart of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
7th and 8th grade students in newspaper class research, write, revise, and edit all articles. Students work on skills such as typing, interviewing with follow-up questions, note-taking information from sources, communicating professionally through email, as well as writing articles in different journalistic formats.
Our students strive to write accurate, fair, and objective articles while learning the basics of journalism. This is a learning process for all of us. There may be errors in articles, and we thank you for your grace in advance. If you let us know about them, we will do our best to correct them.
If you are a student at Galileo and are interested in becoming one of our journalists, click here.
If you have an article idea, please let us know by clicking here.
