Presentation Posters
Purpose of Presentation Posters
The purpose of a presentation poster is to communicate to a client what the final design might look like, how it functions, and how it meets the user's needs.
Presentation posters are used at the later stages of the design process, to communicate with clients and gather feedback and final approval before moving to the creation stage.

Evaluating Your Presentation Poster
Content
Your poster should contain the appropriate content for the task.
Refer to the success criteria provided by your teacher to ensure you have included all the necessary information.
Your poster should communicate clearly and concisely
Do not simply cut and paste blocks of text from your inquiry portfolio. Carefully consider how you can rephrase, revise text. It may be even possible to omit text that is not necessary for communicating the main ideas and features of the design.
Graphic Design
The design of the poster plays an important role in how you communicate your thinking about the product .
Use the principles of graphic design to guide you.
Use a grid to organize elements of your poster (Alignment)
Render your images with a transparent background - this will allow you to place the image anywhere
Be aware of the meanings associated with color. Blue is associated with trust and communication: Ideal for social media or medical devices.
Use consistent fonts and colors to organize the content (Repetition)
Use high quality images in your design - one poorly drawn, rendered, or scanned image will bring down the quality of the whole work.
