Attention: If anyone knows advanced strategies for specific tier 10s, please let me know! I am making a separate guide for more advanced players! :D
Different animals are suited for certain biomes. Exiting the ideal biome will leave (a) timer(s), which count(s) down. When a timer reaches zero, the animal will take damage over time until it is back in a suitable biome.
Basic Map Layout
The open ocean is located in the middle of the map. Plankton that spawns here is dark green and algae that spawns here is light green. Anemones and sardine AIs spawn in this biome. The open ocean is very… open. There is usually almost no terrain in the biome. Apple trees, palm trees, bushes, and dams spawn on its islands.
The reef is located to the right of the open ocean. Plankton that spawns here is light blue and algae that spawns here is pink. The reef is very cramped, and terrain spawns almost everywhere, with tight passageways and secret tunnels. Anemones, sponges, and clownfish AIs spawn here. Apple trees, palm trees, and bushes spawn on its islands. Some coral that spawns here can slow down non-reef animals by 30%.
Animals that live in the ocean can live in the reef and vice versa.
Arctic
The arctic is located to the far left side of the map. Plankton that spawns here is dark blue and algae than spawns here is yellow. Small volcanoes, upside-down dams, and pollock AIs spawn here, and igloos spawn on its islands. When an animal runs out of temperature time, it will take light damage and be slowed by 10% until it returns to its proper biome.
The swamp is located to the far right side of the map. Plankton that spawns here is dark green and algae that spawns here is light green. Dams and broken trees spawn here. Apple trees and bushes spawn on its islands. When an animal runs out of salinity time, it will take light damage until it returns to its proper biome. It will also not regenerate HP passively until its salinity is restored. Food will still restore HP.
The deeeep is a large biome located under the open ocean reef, and arctic. Plankton that spawns here is blue and algae that spawns here is yellow. Small volcanoes, tube worms, and lanternfish and siphonophore AIs spawn here. When an animal runs out of pressure time, it will take heavy damage until it moves back into its proper biome.
The deeeep swamp is located under the swamp. Dams and caves spawn here. Firefly AIs spawn in air pockets in this biome. An animal that doesn't belong on the deeeep swamp will have a pressure and/or salinity timer.
The kelp forest is located between the arctic and the open ocean. Plankton that spawns here is dark green and algae that spawns here is light green. Sponges, upside-down dams, and pollock AIs spawn here. Animals from the open ocean and reef and the arctic can live in this biome.
The estuary is located between the reef and the swamp. Plankton that spawns here is dark green and plankton that spawns here is light green. Beaver dams, broken trees, and clownfish AIs spawn here. Apple trees and bushes spawn on its islands. Animals that can live in the open ocean and reef and the swamp can live in this biome.
The deeeep estuary is located between the deeeep and the deeeep swamp. Plankton that spawns here is dark green and plankton that spawns here is light green. Dams and caves spawn here. Firefly AIs spawn in air pockets in this biome. Animals that can live in the deeeep and the deeeep swamp can live in this biome.
The twilight zone is located throughout the whole map, separating the deeeep and deeeep swamp from the biomes above them. Animals that can live in the biomes above or below the twilight zone in a certain area can live in the twilight zone in that area.
