Lion's mane jellyfish can live in the arctic, kelp forest, open ocean, reef, and estuary!
Mechanics:
Lion's mane jellyfish randomly spawn in the arctic, open ocean, and kelp forest, but they can survive in the reef and estuary if they make it there.
Lion's mane jellyfish ignore players, unless they are attacked. When an animal hits them, they will turn so their back faces the attacker. The jellyfish's tentacles reduce animal's HP by 15% of their maximum HP (An animal with 100 HP will take 15 damage each time and an animal with 1000 HP will take 150 damage each time. The tentacles also inflict poison on any animal that is not immune to poison. Lion's mane jellyfish poison is 40% stronger than other poisons.
How to beat them: Lion's mane jellyfish are very tanky, and they heal extremely quickly. To beat them, players must be able to deal continuous damage over time or very powerful hits. One way to do this is to use bleeding. Any animal that can make larger animals bleed is a good choice. Animals that are immune to poison are also very good at hunting lion's mane jellyfish, especially sunfish.
