Attention: If anyone knows advanced strategies for specific tier 10s, please let me know! I am making a separate guide for more advanced players! :D
"Boost to slap and inflict slowness and bleeding and get a small speed boost. Charge your boost for a stronger slap or escape from grabs."
Default speed: 100
HP: 900
Damage: 100
Armor penetration: 50%
Boosts: 3
Evolves from: Humboldt Squid
Oxygen time: 10 seconds (Out of water)
Temperature time: N/A
Pressure time: 15 seconds (Out of deeeep and deeeep swamp)
Salinity time: 20 seconds (In swamp and deeeep swamp)
Colossal squids can live in the deeeep!
Abilities:
Boosting will make the colossal squid slap forward with its tentacle, dealing 80 damage, increasing its speed by 4 for 4 seconds, slowing down the target by 30 for 1 second and causing bleed for 2 seconds, using half a boost bar. The highest speed is +48.
Using a charged boost will make the colossal squid lunge forward and slap with both of its tentacles, dealing 175 damage for the double slap and an additional 125 damage if the colossal squid hit the animal with its mouth. This slows down the target by 30 for 1.5 seconds and causes bleed for 2 seconds, using a boost bar.
Colossal squids cannot damage or be damaged by animals on tier 1 (except for worm and piranha), but they can still slap them.
Strategies: Colossal squid is an exceptional fighter and hunter. Use your double slap on an animal, then spam single slaps to deal maximum damage. If the animal is moving towards you, you don't need to double slap. However, whales and cachalots can easily beat you. If you are stuck in a whale suction, wait until you bounce and double slap your way out. If a cachalot is chasing you, turn around and slap it. This will slow it down and you can escape. If it continues to chase you, repeat the process. One move advanced players use is called "strafing". To do this, use a charged boost to the side of the target but turn to face them when slapping. When done correctly, you will pass by them, but they will still be damaged.
