Mahi mahis can live in the kelp forest, open ocean, reef, and estuary!
Abilities:
Boosting will make the mahi mahi lunge forward and deal 125 damage, using a boost bar.
Charging a boost will lock on to the animal closest to your cursor, not using a boost. This will not work if there are no animals nearby. When locked onto an animal, the mahi mahi will follow it automatically, and gain a +25% damage increase.
Jumping out of the water and diving back in again will give the mahi mahi a +33% speed increase, which is stackable up to a +66% speed increase. The speed increase will last for about 5 seconds. Jumping and diving again will renew the speed increase.
Mahi mahi cannot damage or be damaged by mahi mahi.
Strategies: Mahi mahi are good hunters due to their speed when jumping out of the water. Jump out of the water twice to gain maximum speed, then lock onto an animal and get close enough to do damage. You only have 5 seconds to kill them before your speed increase ends! Mahi mahis can also make fast getaways due to their fast speed. Beware of dolphins and marlins, as they are stronger and faster than you!
