Attention: If anyone knows advanced strategies for specific tier 10s, please let me know! I am making a separate guide for more advanced players! :D
"Use a charged boost to get inside your shell, increase your armor and start regenerating energy."
Default speed: 100
HP: 900
Damage: 80
Armor: 30%
Boosts: 2
Evolves from: Giant Salamander
Oxygen time: 60 seconds (Underwater)
Temperature time: 10 seconds (In arctic)
Pressure time: 5 seconds (In deeeep)
Salinity time: 20 seconds (Out of swamp, deeeep swamp, and estuary)
Giant softshell turtles can live in the swamp, deeeep swamp, and estuary!
Abilities:
Giant softshell turtles do not bounce off of animals they attack.
Boosting will make the giant softshell turtle lunge forward and deal 100 damage, using a boost bar.
Using a charged boost will make the giant softshell turtle go into its shell. It will sink, increase its armor to 90%, and slowly fill up its boost bars. It will also lose oxygen 3 times slower. When in its shell, moving the cursor or the joystick in a circular motion around the giant softshell turtle will make it roll in a certain direction and it will deal no damage to animals. Boosting again will make the giant softshell turtle come back out of its shell, decreasing its stats to the default ones.
Giant softshell turtles cannot damage or be damaged by animals on tier 1 (except for worm and piranha).
Strategies: Due to its high armor, giant softshell turtles have high survivability and can take many hits before dying. Watch out for animals with armor penetration, though! They can deal extra damage to you. You can go into your shell if you run out of boosts. When an animal has run out of boosts, you can take advantage by pressing them against terrain. You will slowly wear them down until they die.
