Bats can live in the swamp and deeeep swamp!
Abilities:
When underwater, bats float towards the surface.
Boosting will make the bat lunge forward, dealing 101-135 damage and using a boost bar.
Charging a boost in the air will make the bat emit a sonic beam that slows down animals, using a boost bar. Bats also get a +16% speed boost in caves.
Bats can walk on ceilings, and will not automatically walk on islands, glaciers, dams, or lilypads if touching them, unlike birds.
When out of the water, the bat will fly.
When above the surface of water, bats will have reduced vision. When in swamp water, deeeep swamp water, or caves/air pockets, bats have a vast field of vision.
Bats cannot damage or be damaged by bats and oarfish.
Strategies: If you're not in the deeeep swamp, try to make your way to an air pocket in the deeeep swamp. Eat fireflies to evolve quickly. Avoid all other animals as you have low HP. One risky but rewarding strategy to to look for walking animals and damage them from the sides. You will damage them faster than they damage you. But be careful, as you have relatively low HP.
