The Elba Sup&Hike Week is designed for daily sup tours along selected stretches of coast and for daily hiking tours on selected mountain paths.

Participation requirements for stand up paddling tours:

• Good health

• Be comfortable swimming in deep water (even if with PFD)

• Be comfortable stand up paddling or knee paddling up to sea state 2 on the Douglas scale (waves up to 0.50 m)

• Be comfortable stand up paddling or knee paddling up to wind force 3 on the Beaufort scale (wind speed up to 10 kn)

• Be confortable paddling up to 10 km per day and up to 4 hours per day (stops included)

• All necessary equipment (board, paddle, leash, pfd) and ability for paddling

Participation requirements for hiking tours:

• Good health

• be comfortable hiking 300m of uphill elevation per hour, maximum 600m of uphill elevation per day (and corresponding height difference downhill)

• Be confortable hiking up to 4 hours per day (stops included)

• All necessary equipment (hiking boots, backpack, raincoat) and ability for hiking

Available rentals:

• Inflatable boards, paddles, leashes

Basecamp and lodging:

• Fully furnished apartments with kitchen in a country house with garden and parking

Meals:

• Choice of own kitchen or in local restaurants

Excursions:

• Every day a sup and/or a hike tour

Extras:

• Some extra courses or activities are proposed: survival (half day), freediving (half day), muscle awakening (early morning), anti-fatigue gymnastics (late afternoon)

Costs per person:

• registration for the meeting by 15 December 2025: 150 euro (deposit: 100 euro); afterwards: 200 euro

• ferry round trip for car and 2 persons: around 150 euro

• lodging, depending on the occupancy rate of the apartments: 150-250 euro

• rental of board + paddle + leash: 150 euro

• contribution to the cost of using other people's private cars for daily travel on the island, if necessary

How to get to the island:

• The best way to get to Elba is by ferry from Piombino which can be reached by train.

• There is also an international airport on the island.

• First part of the day: Sup excursion along the coast. Depending on the weather conditions, at least one outing is proposed at dawn or dusk.

• Second part of the day: Hike excursion on mountain paths

Friday 15 May

• 11h: Departure of guests
