Surrealism 

This project was not one of my favorites and I feel like my main focus was just to get it done. I didn't even end up finishing it which is sad but I just felt really bored when doing it and I didn't like the way my collage looked. I tried my best to color match the colors from the paper to the painting and I wanted them to look as close as I could get them. I also wanted to make the collage look more creative and I was trying to focus on what I could change or make something look different to be able to add the creativity. 

I used acrylic paint, and some ink, just around the numbers on the phone. I painted all the bigger shapes of the collage first before layering over the smaller details like the phone of the leopard print. 

When I made my collage I felt as though I was rushed, I quickly picked a theme that i thought would be super fun if I was able to execute it, and I had picked to try and do a Barbie pink theme. I feel like I spent too much time looking through the magazines and I wasn't able to find a lot of stuff to use for my collage idea so I just ended up doing pink. I pretty much knew what the end result of my project would look like and it looked like what I expected. If I were to redo this project I think that I would spend more time organizing and laying out a collage that I actually liked and that I was happy with.
