Hand Holding a Rubber Band

The main idea that was focused on when drawing each of these pieces was making sure that every line that I saw on the shoe was drawn, and that my drawing was pretty much to scale of the shoe. When I was drawing the hand tried very hard to keep the hand holding the rubber band steady and not the change the position of the band, for some reason I decided to put the rubber band in a very complicated position on my hand which made it even more difficult to keep my hand in the same position the whole time.

For all four drawings I started out by drawing all the base lines with a very light 4h pencil, and then eventually going over them in a regular number 2 pencil. The process was tedious and it was hard to trace the lines perfectly.

Before I drew my hand holding the rubber band, I expected my drawing to be a lot bigger and to have more defining curves in my fingers. In the end the hand ended up smaller, and the fingers ended up getting very overlapped by one another. For the shoes I had originally thought that they would turn out not looking like the shoe I was drawing, but I decided to draw the shoe almost to scale which made it a lot easier and in the end all three perspectives looked like the same shoe.
