Donate Life Project 

The goal for this project was to create a design that promoted organ and tissue donation targeted towards teenagers as well as everyone else. The design had to include text and your own slogan for why donating your organs was positive after you die. My idea for the project was to include a reference from the 80s or 70s including a word like "Boogie" or "Groove/groovy" I wanted to make the words and colors pop so that the poster I made was interesting to look at and made the person reading it feel good. 

I had planned on using markers and colored pencils, but I ended up not having access to markers at home so I only used colored pencils for the whole thing, except for the outline which I did in a black pen. 

I did not spend as much time on this project as I think I could have. When sketching out the layout of the design, I wrote all of the words out very large and saw that I was running out of space. I didn't want to erase what I already had, so it ended up being more squished than I had wanted it to be. If I had spent more time on it I think that it would have looked better as a whole.
