Upcycled top #2

This project was probably the easiest project I've done. It was super simple. All I needed was an old white T-shirt and some thread. I found these instructions on the right on Pinterest. I took the old white shirt and cut the top off. I decided not to do the straps. I then cut the back open in half. 

I took my sewing machine and sewed wavy lines up and down each side of the open back until about halfway through to create little circles that the ribbon could go through. I then cut the circles open to make the opening for the ribbon. I still thought the shirt was a little plain, so I decided to embroider little flowers or stars on the shirt just below the chest. This was super easy because it was just embroidering. 

Overall, I'm happy with the product, but I do wish I added straps. I think it would've improved the product. I think I will make it again and will add the straps to see if I do like it better.
