Scratchboard
To complete this project all I had to do was scratch. This was a very unusual project and prosses compared to what we have done in the past. It was like drawing with a white pen. One thing that made it unusual was the fact that once you made a mark, you couldn't really get rid of it.Â
We had to choose an original image. For my image, I chose a moon. I thought that this image would be the easiest to put down on the scratchboard and also look cool. I was wrong. This was very hard due to the fact that the moon doesn't have fur or hair. Instead, it has solid colors, and most are grey. I found it really hard to get grey.
I don't really like the final product. It does look like a moon but I don't like how it's light in some places and dark in others. I also think it's a bit crooked wich I wish I could fix. Overall it turned out okay but I don't think I would use this material again.
