For this project, we had to make something out of at least five pinch pots. In the previous project, we learned how to make pinch pots. I wanted to make something like a flower. My original idea was to make a bouquet of flowers to hang on my wall but when I started I realized that it would be a lot more difficult than I thought. Everything would be too thin and I felt like it would end up breaking. I switched my idea to a lily pad. I didn't want to waste the clay I used for my original idea even though it was already bone dry so I made flowers on the lily pad. To make the middle flower I pushed clay all around three of the pre-made buds and continued to fold and add petals onto the base. My favorite part was adding the details like the little ladybug or the detail in the lily pad itself. I used a sage green and a pinkish red to glaze my project. Each flower was a pinch pot as were the two bases and the ladybug. Overall I think it turned out well. I wish I used different lighter colors and maybe one or two more colors but overall I think it's good.
