For this project we had to use a total of at least 84 different colors. We took the primary, secondary and tertiary colors from the color wheel. We added 3 tints (add white) and 3 shades (add black).
To come up with the desing I wanted I just thought of somehtin I liked with a lot of different shpes. I thought the turtle was perfect because the shell and its head and fins have a lot of different shapes.Â
I wanted to make a type of tapestry so I cut out part of a sheet then stretched it out over some poster board. I then put a base coat on so the paint would stick. Then I just sketched out my drawing and started painting form the back up.
