Digital Photography

Throughout the first quarter of photography one I have taken many photos, some that I am more proud of than others, but overall, I think I did well. The photos above are the 8 that I am most proud of, one photo from each different assignment that we did throughout this quarter of digital photography.

The different assignments we did, ranged from taking photos and learning about the different composition rules and techniques, to learning how to use photoshop. I have learned many different rules and techniques during the quarter and I believe that my photography and editing skills have improved a lot since the beginning of school.

The reason that I chose these eight photos as my favorites is they all either have qualities and concepts that I think I did well or they are my best photos that displayed my best work from each of the assignments. Originally, I was tied between which photo to choose for the composition and techniques assignment, along with the color selected multiplicity. I wasn't sure which to pick because there were several pieces that I was proud of from those two assignments.

The photos do not all relate to my life in the same ways but they all can and do relate to or have a significance in my life. All these photos will have a different meaning to different people based on what someone has gone through in their lives. Photography is a very beautiful and amazing way to share the world with many people and that is part of the reason that all of these are significant in my life.

So during this quarter, I think that I have learned very much and I have found a new way to look at photography.
