Linear Perspective

Artist Statement;

For this project, we walked around the halls until we found a hallway we liked which we then took an image of, printed out, and used as our reference photo. Once we had our image, we used the skills we learned from the 1 and 2 point perspective projects we did previously.

For this image, I used a large piece of drawing paper, colored pencils, graphite pencils, and a ruler. I started off by trying to find the middle and creating my reference point. From there, I used my image to create and add the details into my image.

The photo on the right is before I had added the colored pencil, which personally, I liked much better. I thought that once I added colors that they didn't match closely enough to the reference image that they just looked odd and out of place. I also thought they cluttered up the image and it looked much cleaner beforehand.
