Graphite on paper

The main idea that guided me through making these pieces of art was recreating something to make it look realistic. For this assignment I had to recreate all the shadows and highlights that I saw in my art and to make them look as realistic as I could.

The materials that I used were graphite pencils ranging from as light as 2H to as dark and 6B on pastel paper.

The process that I went through to make this art was I first started with making a grid using a light 2h pencil. Then I had to work my way down by drawing in each section of the drawing and shade it in. Sometimes I would have to erase and redo my lines but I tried to erase them as much as I could but they still for some reason appeared even when I erased them.
