The main idea that guided me through creating these pieces of artwork was basically shading and creating shadows by using colors. To learn these basics we basically had to practice on our own by shading spheres first before making the Candy still life. I had to make my candy look as realistic as I could but for some reason I ended messing up on my shaded spheres.

The materials that I used to create these pieces of artwork are graphite pencils ranging from 2h - 2b, markers, colored pencils and watercolors.

The process that I went through with these pieces was I first started with a basic outline of all my candy then I had to decided what color would look the best in each one. Once I had that decided I finally was able to color and shade the candy in.
