Title: Lance the lobster.

For this project we were assigned to make one form of a project that included at least 5 pinch pots - we had to make sure that what we were creating was realistic and unique in its own way.

I first had no idea what I wanted to make for a project and for a while, I was stuck brainstorming ideas of what I wanted to create. I thought a lobster would work nicely with this type of project with the way it looked in detail from the head down. Once I had my project idea I started out with a sketch of what I would do first, next I started out by rolling a bunch of clay together, and then I started by pinching each pinch pot the way I wanted it to look. Then I slipped and scored each pinch pot together to make sure that it would not break, then I added interesting details to the lobster to make it look more realistic. Then I added three coats of glaze onto my lobster and put it into the kiln.

Overall I am very pleased with how it turned out and what I would do differently is take my time with glazing so I would not get it in any places that I didn't want the glaze to be. If I could do this project again I would also some more to be more independent with creating the lobster because most of the time, I got a lot of help and it is summative so it requires more of my work than my teacher's help.
