The 4 ink prints
The main idea that guided me to make these prints was to make four prints that were realistic without any smudges on them. The prints could be any solid ink color you wanted to make them. I chose to do blue at first then I did black. The prints had to be solid, multicolored, extended, and unique. Each print had to be solid without any smudges or blotches on them. I made a lobster boat going through the ocean with a forest and sky background.
The materials that I used to create these images were: black ink, and a tool to press the designs down onto the paper. I also used colored pencils and purple ink for my other prints.
The process that I went through to make these designs was I first had to find an image that I took from my phone. Next once I found the image I wanted I had to make a sketch on a separate piece of paper then I had to recreate it by carving into a linoleum slab and eventually as well as shading the spots in with sharpie that I wanted to be dark. Next once I had 50% white and 50% black on the slab I had to roll ink onto my linoleum slab to then press paper on top of the slab to create images. I was pretty satisfied with how my images turned out overall and I don't know how I would make them better.
